On September 27th 2014, Anne and Jonathan Winter, Dave Westwell and Lucy Driver are taking part in London’s river marathon, the Great River Race, which involves around 300 traditional rowing boats racing for 21 miles on the Thames.
The money they raise will support the St Matthieu Health Centre in Bukavu. If you’d like to join in, you can watch the race from London’s many bridges, follow the course along the Thames path or join them for a party at the finish, at Ham House in Richmond (its a National Trust property).
